ISU Ph.D. Michael Castellano – Thursday, 11 a.m.
Dr. Michael Castellano, professor and lead of the Iowa Nitrogen Initiative, has focused his research on nitrogen lost from agricultural systems to the surrounding environment, including nitrogen leaching during wet conditions. He will speak about the impact of weather on nitrogen this year, and what that might mean for farmers making nitrogen management plans for later in the season.
