More Nitrogen in the Plant with Pivot Bio

Partnering with growers and independent researchers for our annual Pivot Bio on-farm studies is one of the most important activities we undertake. These Pivot Partners work all season long to analyze our product’s performance, which provides growers information to help them be more familiar with how our products can work on their operations.

Each year, millions of data points are collected and analyzed to help us continually improve the products we offer farmers. While 2020 was challenging in many ways, our team persevered and completed several important studies. I am pleased to release the 2020 Performance Report that summarizes multiple on-farm studies measuring the nitrogen efficiency of Pivot Bio PROVEN® in corn and Pivot Bio RETURN® performance in sorghum. We have yet another year of independently-verified data to share with you, including:

• Nitrogen Deficiency Study in corn planted with synthetic nitrogen
• Whole-Plant Nitrogen Utilization Study measuring nitrogen content in corn treated with Pivot Bio PROVEN®
• Plant Bio-Mass Study demonstrated an overall increase corn plant bio-mass for silage
• Grain Sorghum Study to measure yield performance

These studies help give growers the confidence that a new technology like Pivot Bio PROVEN® and Pivot Bio RETURN® can provide their corn and sorghum the nitrogen these crops need. Season after season, acre upon acre, we are demonstrating our product is weatherproof and reliable, and we are thrilled with the demand we are seeing customers for this season.

We look forward to continuing our longstanding and productive partnerships in 2021 to continue to deliver timely and accurate independent research results and actionable data to help improve yield and profitability for our growers and to help further develop strategies to help farmers reduce their dependence on synthetic nitrogen. Our research partnerships allow everyone access to view our product performance on a larger scale and under commercial conditions.
