Pivot Bio Celebrates New Ames Office And Continued Growth

It was an exciting summer of growth and expansion for Pivot Bio. Our Iowa-based team had grown to the point that we needed to move our Ames, Iowa office into a larger space at the Iowa State University Research Park (ISURP). This new office is home to our fast-growing Customer Success team, a world-class facilities for training, and a hub for all our Midwest employees. 

It was only two years ago, in March 2019, that we opened our first office at ISURP, and it continues to be a perfect fit as our company’s Midwest hub. It's in the heart of the ‘Cultivation Corridor’ alongside other ag innovators, close to one of the best ag research universities, and is convenient for many of our customers. The city of Ames and the ISURP location have played a key role in our continued growth.

We celebrated the move into this beautiful new space with an open house and ribbon cutting, and welcomed state and local leaders, Pivot Bio board members, customers, employees, independent sales reps, and the community.

Our CEO and Pivot Bio co-founder Karsten Temme, Ph.D. was joined by Ames Chamber of Commerce CEO Dan Culhane, Iowa Economic Development Authority Director Debi Durham, Iowa Department of Agriculture Deputy Secretary Julie Kenney and Iowa State University President Dr. Wendy Wintersteen for special remarks.

After the program, a delicious lunch was provided by Provisions Lot F, a fellow ISURP neighbor, and Pivot Bio staff offered tours of the office and the PROVEN® 40 demo plot surrounding the building.
